2 eggs
6 T water
2 tsp flour
1 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
2 cups dried bread crumbs
2 cups mozzarella cheese
3-1/2 cups spaghetti sauce
Beat eggs, water, flour, cottage cheese and seasonings. Stir in bread crumbs and nuts. Shape into walnut-size
balls.
Pour a thin layer of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a 13 x 9" baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam. Place
meatballs in pan. Pour remaining sauce over meatballs and sprinkle cheese over all. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Serves 6-8.
Great served over cooked spaghetti, or as a stand-alone entree.
