½ cup clean raw cashews
½ cup hot water (more if necessary)
2 tsp. onion powder
½
tsp. nutritional yeast
½ tsp. "chicken" seasoning (such as McKays)
2 Tbs. cornstarch or arrowroot
Salt to taste
½ tsp. smoke flavor
2 Tbs. soy sauce
Water to make 2 cups
Blend cashews and hot water in blender. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Simmer,
stirring constantly, until thick.
