Bean Oat Patties

1-1/2 cup cooked beans (with liquid)
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup chopped Brazil nuts
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 Tbs. food yeast
1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. salt (to taste)
Gravy or tomato sauce
 
Mash beans or whiz in blender. Add other ingredients and mix well. Let mixture stand 5-10 minutes.

Shape into patties and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in an oiled, covered pan; or brown on lightly oiled skillet, covered. Turn after 15 minutes. Serve with gravy or tomato sauce. Patties can be simmered in sauce to soften.
